We are very excited to have this gentlemen join our herdsire team. Full Accoyo, he is the grandson of Shere Kahn, one of the most noted alpacas in the world. His father, Allen Cappic was sold to Australia quite soon after arriving in the US and only sired 8 children during his brief stay in America.

Armando is big boned and straight allowing him to move very well. As for his fleece, it has kept its character and handle incredibly well in to his 7th year. He is so dense it is nearly impossible to get the scissors in there to take a fiber sample. We braved it out however, and check out his fiber statistics from his 7th fleece below.

We had two Armando girls born over the last 2 years and we were so taken by these offspring that we made the decision to go out and bring these rare genetics to Hilltop. Armando is truly a consistent male, don’t miss this opportunity to add these genes to your farm!
