descends from alpaca royalty, Accoyo Agusto on his maternal
side and Accoyo Royal Fawn on his paternal. This is a
pairing we have not seen until Hollywood, but it is one not
to be missed. He is 50% Accoyo and 100% awesome. Hollywood’s
sire is Dom Lucilio. Dom Lucilio resides in New Mexico and
has made quite a name for himself across the country. In
2003 alone 27 Championships and Reserve Championships have
been won by Luc progeny. The Dom Lucilio children have won
either Reserve Champion or Champion in every color group
except for Pattern. These are some incredible statistics for
an entire breeding career, but to achieve this in just one
show season is nothing short of spectacular. Hollywood’s
maternal sister, Sunset Jewel, was the “Crown Jewel” of the
Spring shows, winning 4 Championship banners in 4 shows,
under 4 different judges. Hollywood has some amazing
producers on both sides of his family tree.
Straight lines, big bone
and a correct bite are just the foundation for the next
generation of alpaca fiber. Hollywood’s 1 year old Micron
count reads 18.6 MC 3.3 SD 16.8 CV & .4 %> 30. He sheared 10
pounds of fiber in 2003 that exhibits crimp and sheen that
are beyond compare. Hollywood's 04 micron was a fantastic
20.4 MC 3.9 SD 19.3 CV 1.6 %>30, hardly any movement at all
over a 2 year span. He hit the show ring running and hasn’t
slowed down, in 2 years he has won 7 blue ribbons and 3
championship banners to date. Judges using explanations such
as, exquisite, incredible, top stuff, best fleece in the
show and many more statements to describe this herdsire.
