Here is an
alpaca that is a color that so many breeders try to achieve
but is so very rare. Some call it taupey grey, some
harlequin grey, we just call it awesome. We have actually
had decent luck producing this color making three of them in
our 10 years and once they go on the sales list they don't
stay long. Bouquet had an awesome show career winning blues
at a number of large shows and is now retired to our
production barn. She just had her third cria which is a MSG
Sliver Celebration daughter that we are really excited
about. Her previous two offspring were true blacks, one boy
and one girl. Bouquet breeds easily, births even easier and
is just an all around easy keep. We love this Silver
Celebration cria so much we have rebred her to him for her
2009 cria, keep your fingers crossed for another grey.
Bouquet is available with her 2008 cria for $27,000 for a 5
alpaca package (both mom and baby sell with additional
breedings) or just Bouquet bred with a free rebreeding To a
Hilltop Alpacas Herdsire of buyer's choice.
