Lucky Penny in my opinion is a
genetic goldmine. He is out of Advocate who is our most
consistent male, throwing extreme quality and Lucky
Penny's Dam has the nicest female fleece on the farm,
even at 8 years old. We just shorn her and we could not
believe how she is holding on to the extreme quality in
her fleece. In Advocates short breeding career he had a
number of champion progeny and Nebula's 2008 daughter
just won the Grey Female champion at the 2009 Northeast
Alpaca Expo. Quality surrounds Lucky Penny and that
quality includes himself. He is a medium build male that
is very solidly put together. Big bone with nice
balance, straight lines and a correct bite, he is near
flawless confirmationally. Fleece wise he has many
positives as well, a long staple with a soft hand and a
consistent high frequency crimp throughout his body. The
Judge’s have taken notice of him as well I have to look
up his complete show record but he has won at the very
least a first at Coastal Classic and the North Carolina
Alpaca Celebration and assorted other placing at various
large shows across the country. This male has the
potential to be a very solid producer and because of the
number of males we are carrying at the moment we are
offering him at this exceptional price.
